Src Tyrosine kinase works as a
signaling protein.As
the name
states, src is a tyrosine kinase. What does this mean? This
means that Src passes messages by attaching phosphate groups to certain
tyrosine amino
acids. The Src protein specifically works
with messages
dealing with cell growth. It is located on the cytoplasm side of
the cellular membrane. (Protein
